~*~ Welcome 2 Ben's Homepage ~*~

About Me

Hi!!! My name is Ben and I live in Brighton, England, right next to the SEA. 🌊

I write computer programs for a living, mostly in C#, which is like C++ but SHARPER. Before that I ran big computers in "the cloud" (which is NOT actually in the sky, I checked). When the sea is calm I go out on my paddleboard.

My Projects

• OpenFive
My favourite game is The Famous Five: Treasure Island. It came out in 1999, just like this page!!! I made a brand new engine for it so it runs on modern computers.
• Geekoffee
A little coffee cup that stops your computer falling asleep. Just like real coffee. It's written in Rust, which is a programming language and NOT the orange stuff on old cars.

My Computer

My computer is CUSTOM BUILT and runs openSUSE Linux with the KDE desktop. My browser is LibreWolf and my e-mail is Thunderbird. I also have a Raspberry Pi server that plays films, backs up my photos and keeps an eye on my INTERNET SPEED. The full list of my software is on my uses page.
